Workshop: Resilient Space Systems: A Standardized Method for Identifying Minimum Security Requirements
Authors: Florian Göhler (BSI, Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik) and Manuel Hoffmann (Information Security Consulting)
To achieve service availability and other mission-specific protection objectives, space systems require a minimum level of security measures to protect the systems from cyber attacks.
During this workshop, we will demonstrate the application of a standardized approach for deriving mission-specific minimum security requirements and provide guidelines for their implementation. The workshop would be structured as follows:
- Understanding the cybersecurity challenges of space systems.
- Getting to know the approach to mission-specific security requirements.
- Group exercise: Gaining practical experience with real examples and case studies.
- Delving deeper into higher protection needs for accreditation processes.
- Discussion of results
